Sales Manager (Kanton Thurgau)

For our customer, the leading international company with an office in Canton of Thurgau we are looking for a young and experienced

Sales Manager (m/f) (The Canton of Thurgau) 

Your responsibilities:

  • Continually monitoring the market, you will identify potential within the industry, be involved in price management and identify relevant success drivers in the product range
  • You will analyze the market and keep track of industry-specific developments
  • You will represent the company when communicating with customers
  • Cost calculation of plant equipment based on the quantity data provided by the product manager
  • Working together with the specialist departments in-house, you will compile technical and commercial offers
  • You will follow up offers and lead negotiations with the customer
  • Ongoing negotiations for changes influencing costs after the order has been placed
  • Acquisition of new customers
  • Representing the company at trade fairs and other marketing events

 

Your profile:

  • Completed technical training (university/technical university, engineering college, or similar)
  • Several years experience in sales for a plant engineering business, experience in the metal industry and with cast houses an advantage
  • Ability to negotiate in English successfully
  • Being precise and able to work independently, highly motivated and results driven, enthusiastic
  • Outstanding social skills, especially with a view to teamwork
  • Keen to build contacts, client oriented, good communication skills and professional attitude
  • Excellent communicator and negotiator
  • Readiness to travel internationally
